One-on-one support, at your own pace
If you have ever had a question about your phone, your computer, or something online - and felt like you did not want to bother anyone - this is for you. Sessions are free, relaxed, and completely on your terms. A friendly local mentor, a cup of tea, and biscuits.
People most often ask about these - but if what you need is not on the list, bring it along anyway. If your mentor does not know the answer on the day, they will find out.
You come along, grab a tea or coffee, and sit with a patient local young person who walks you through exactly what you need. No rushing, no technical jargon, no silly questions.
Sessions are one-on-one or in very small groups, so you get proper attention - so there is never any pressure to keep up.
You set the pace. Biscuits are always included.

Your mentor is a young local person - aged 14 to 25 - trained to explain technology clearly and patiently. They are building real communication and teaching skills through this program, and every session you attend helps them do that.
In other words: while they are helping you with technology, you are helping them build a pathway into work and their future. It genuinely works both ways.
Sessions run in Bairnsdale and across East Gippsland - at local community venues, Neighbourhood Houses, and ESports Collective on Macleod Street (next to Centrelink). We come to your community wherever possible. Sessions are completely free, funded by the Australian Government.
Tell us a little about what you need and we will be in touch to organise your free one-on-one session with a friendly local mentor. If a form is too fiddly, just give us a call and we will sort it out over the phone.
